چکیده
Plastic mulch is extensively applied in agricultural production arid regions. It significantly influences the interactions between land and atmosphere by altering underlying surface characteristics. An accurate timely extraction method for Plastic-Mulched Cropland (PMC) required to understand energy transfer processes, eco-hydrological cycle, climate effect of PMC, management water resources. In this study, we proposed a Timely Plastic-mulched cropland Extraction Method (TPEM) from complex mixed surfaces with multi-source remote sensing data Shiyanghe River Basin (SRB), typical representation inhomogeneous region northwest China. We defined TPEM three phases; first phase, spectral characteristic curves were drawn ground object points labeled visual interpretation data. second analysis modified index was amplify difference PMC non-PMC objects. Finally, Classification Regression Tree (CART) classifier used generate thresholds indices as rules. The results showed that it can extract boundary large-scale farmland, distinguish objects surfaces, separate desert shares same characteristics PMC. verified be efficient robust, an overall accuracy 0.9234, quantity disagreement 0.0541, allocation 0.0224, outperformed two methods, especially when satellite only during period incomplete covered plastic available. This study will provide us widely distributed surfaces.

Remotely Monitoring Ecosystem Water Use Efficiency of Grassland and Cropland in China's Arid and Semi-Arid Regions with MODIS Data
Scarce water resources are available in the arid and semi-arid areas of Northwest China, where significant water-related challenges will be faced in the coming decades. Quantitative evaluations of the spatio-temporal dynamics in ecosystem water use efficiency (WUE), as well as the underlying environmental controls, are crucial for predicting future climate change impacts on ecosystem carbon-wat...
متن کاملMapping Plastic-Mulched Farmland with Multi-Temporal Landsat-8 Data
Using plastic mulching for farmland is booming around the world. Despite its benefit of protecting crops from unfavorable conditions and increasing crop yield, the massive use of the plastic-mulching technique causes many environmental problems. Therefore, timely and effective mapping of plastic-mulched farmland (PMF) is of great interest to policy-makers to leverage the trade-off between econo...
متن کاملFlood Flow Frequency Model Selection Using L-moment Method in Arid and Semi Arid Regions of Iran
Statistical frequency analysis is the most common procedure for the analysis of flood data at a gauged location thatin first step it is needed to select a model to represent the population. Among them, the central moment has been themost common and widely used, and with the using of computers, the application of the maximum likelihood hasincreased. This research was carried out in order to reco...
متن کاملcalibration of data from class a pan with thornthwaite method in arid regions of iran
the most precise and simple method of evaporation measurement is application of pans in which class a pan is used in iran. in contrast, there are many empirical methods which are used for estimating the evapotraspiration. in this study, thornthwaite method was used due to the simplicity of its parameters and then we tried to use it for evaluating evapotranspiration by changing it's paramet...
